Soleii holds period data and messages between two people, which is about as personal as data gets. We keep only what the app needs to run. We don’t sell it, we don’t use it for advertising, and we don’t hand it to data brokers.

What we collect

Your account. Your name, your email address, and whether you’re the person tracking or the partner. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google and nothing else. You also pick a character, and if you’re the person tracking, one answer about how close you and your partner live to each other. We don’t ask for a photo, a phone number, or a date of birth.

Cycle and health data. For tracking accounts: period start dates, average cycle length, period duration, predicted dates, and daily logs covering flow intensity, how you were feeling, and any notes you write. This is health data. EU and UK law treats it as a special category that needs extra care, and so do we.

Your partner link. An invite code, the status of the link, the nicknames you each choose, and the character assigned to your partner.

What you send each other. Sunflares, hearts, check-ins, the care actions your partner marks as done, and whether each one was acknowledged.

Notification data. A push token for your device so notifications can reach you, the messages that show up in your in-app notification list, and a short-lived log of whether each notification was delivered.

Subscription status. Whether your subscription or trial is active and when it expires. Payment itself runs through Google Play and RevenueCat. Your card details never reach us.

Crash reports and usage analytics. We use Sentry for crash reports and PostHog for usage events, such as which screens get opened and when a log is saved. PostHog is given your user id and your email address, so we can tell one account’s usage apart from another’s, and it also picks up errors the app runs into. Sentry is configured not to attach your IP address or personal details to error reports. Neither service receives your period dates, your flow intensity, your feelings, your notes, or your messages. When you save a daily log, analytics records that you saved one, how many feelings you picked, and whether you wrote a note, never what any of it said.

Waitlist. If you signed up on this website, we hold your email address and nothing else.

What your partner can see

Their app shows your current phase, the day of your cycle you’re on, and how many days are left until your next period is expected. To work that out, their app is sent three numbers from your cycle settings: the date your last period started, your average cycle length, and how long your period usually lasts. Nothing is calculated on their phone that you haven’t already saved in yours.

Your daily logs never cross the link. No flow intensity, no feelings, no notes, no calendar history. That limit is enforced in the database, not just in the app: partners have no read access to the logs table at all, and every partner link carries a share level of “phase only”, which is the only value the system accepts.

They also see your name or the nickname you chose, and the Sunflares, hearts and check-ins you send them.

Who else touches your data

Eight services help run the app, each doing one job:

  • Supabase hosts the database and handles sign-in
  • Expo sends push notifications and app updates
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging, part of Google, carries those notifications to Android phones
  • Google Play processes payments
  • RevenueCat tells us whether your subscription is active
  • Google Sign-In, if you choose to log in that way
  • Sentry receives crash reports
  • PostHog receives usage analytics

None of them receive your period dates, your flow logs, your feelings or your notes. Expo and Firebase do see the text of a push notification on its way to your phone, which is a line like “Sam sent you a hug”, plus the name or nickname in it. None of these services may use what they see for their own purposes, and none of them get your data to sell.

How long we keep it

Your cycle, flow and account data stays for as long as your account exists. It’s your history, so we don’t quietly delete it.

Records that exist only to run the app clear themselves on a daily schedule. Notification delivery logs go after 30 days, in-app notifications after 60 days, and Sunflare records after 14 months, since your report card reads back over the past month and we keep a comfortable margin.

Why we’re allowed to hold it

We hold your account details and run the app because that’s the service you signed up for. Your cycle and flow data is held on the basis of your consent, which you give by choosing to log it, and nothing in the app asks for it before you do. Analytics and crash reports are there so we can keep the app working and see which parts get used. You can take that consent back at any time by deleting your account, which takes the data with it.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Most of it you can already see and change in the app, and deletion starts from a button under Profile, then Account. For anything else, email us and we’ll come back to you within a month. If you’re in the EU or the UK and you think we’ve handled your data badly, you can complain to your national data protection authority.

Deleting your account

Open Profile, then Account, then Delete account. It removes your account and everything attached to it, including your partner link. You type the word “delete” to confirm, and the deletion then runs three days later. Nothing is touched in the meantime, and the app keeps working, so if you change your mind inside those three days email us and we’ll stop it. Once the three days are up it’s permanent and we can’t restore it. One thing it doesn’t do is cancel a paid subscription, because only the store can do that. Cancel it under Subscriptions in Google Play before you delete.

If you can’t get into the app to do it yourself, email support@azynctra.com from the address on the account and we’ll delete it for you.

Children

Soleii isn’t intended for anyone under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect data from them.

Soleii is not medical advice

The app estimates cycle phases from what you log. Estimates are wrong sometimes. Soleii isn’t contraception, isn’t a pregnancy test, and isn’t a diagnosis. Talk to a qualified professional for health decisions.

Changes and contact

If we change how the app handles your data, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. For questions, a copy of your data, or a correction, email support@azynctra.com.
